Navratri Spacial Pooja 2013




Nava-ratri -  literally means "nine nights." This festival is observed twice a year, once in the beginning of summer and again at the onset of winter all across the country. Although when we talk of celebration of this particular occasion then the celebration in Gujarat comes to our mind. Nevertheless, the celebration of Navratri in Delhi, the capital of India, is not less than any other part of the country.

The nine day celebration ends in great grandeur on the Dussehra which is the last day of the Navaratri and marks the symbol of triumph of good over evil. The effigy of Ravana is set to fire to mark victory of good. Ram Leela is also enacted in many parts of the country.
